SW Healey & Associates was established in March 1998, with Stephen Healey acting as the sole company director and Principal Civil & Structural Engineer. Initially the company provided only structural engineering services. In 2000, the company was expanded to include civil engineering services in response to requests from existing clients.

Initially the company specialised in portal framed buildings, industry light-weight cold formed steel sections. The company provided consulting services to many different steel organisations who supplied products ranging from domestic garages through to full 60 metre span industrial buildings.

The company has grown significantly, but the company vision to provide the highest level of service and expert advice in the fields of civil & structural engineering has remained unchanged.

Healey Castle & Associates was established in May 2005. The company expansion has allowed for the continued development and improvement of the areas of expertise and the ability to offer a wider range of structural and civil engineering services.

With the employment of additional key personnel, the company's field of expertise has continued to expand. Today the company provides consulting services in the following technically specialised areas:
